Position Overview

God’s Glory Hospital seeks a young, vibrant, and highly organized Store / Procurement Manager to oversee the hospital’s procurement activities and inventory management. The successful candidate will ensure the efficient sourcing, storage, and distribution of medical and non-medical supplies to support uninterrupted healthcare delivery.

The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain accountability across all procurement and store operations.


Key Responsibilities

Procurement Management

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute procurement of medical and non-medical supplies.
  • Source reliable suppliers and negotiate favorable terms and pricing.
  • Ensure all purchases comply with hospital policies and budgetary guidelines.
  • Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation.

Inventory and Store Management

  • Oversee the receipt, storage, and issuance of all hospital supplies.
  • Maintain accurate stock records and monitor inventory levels.
  • Conduct regular stock checks and reconciliation of inventory records.
  • Ensure proper storage conditions to prevent loss, damage, or expiry of items.

Reporting and Compliance

  • Prepare regular reports on procurement activities and stock status.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and audit requirements.
  • Support financial planning by providing accurate procurement data.

Coordination and Administration

  • Collaborate with department heads to forecast supply needs.
  • Ensure timely delivery of requested items to all hospital units.
  • Supervise store assistants and ensure adherence to procedures.

Job Requirements

  • HND, Diploma, or Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Must be young, energetic, and highly organized.
  • Strong understanding of procurement and inventory management principles.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and inventory management systems is an advantage.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
