Position Title: Lecturer (Teaching Positions)

Job Description

Successful candidates will deliver high-quality teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, conduct impactful research, mentor students, and contribute actively to academic and administrative responsibilities within the University.

HTU emphasizes Competency-Based Training (CBT) and strong industry-academic collaboration to ensure graduates are well-prepared for the job market.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach assigned courses at undergraduate and/or postgraduate levels
• Develop and deliver competency-based curricula aligned with industry needs
• Conduct research and publish scholarly work in relevant fields
• Supervise student projects, dissertations, and practical training
• Participate in departmental and faculty administrative duties
• Contribute to curriculum development and academic quality assurance
• Engage with industry partners to strengthen practical learning outcomes

Qualification & Experience Requirements

Essential Requirements

• PhD in the relevant field of specialization
• Demonstrated industrial experience or strong skills in Competency-Based Training (CBT)
• Membership of a recognized professional body is an added advantage
