Job Summary

Little Learners Nursery & Pre-School seeks a caring and enthusiastic Nursery Assistant to support classroom teachers in delivering quality care and engaging learning experiences. You will actively contribute to creating a warm, safe, and supportive environment where children develop socially, emotionally, physically, and academically.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the class teacher with daily classroom activities and routines
• Support children during learning sessions, playtime, feeding, and rest periods
• Help prepare teaching aids and learning materials
• Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized classroom environment
• Supervise children during indoor and outdoor activities
• Support children’s social, emotional, and physical development
• Work collaboratively with teachers and other staff members
• Participate in school events, meetings, and training sessions

Requirements

• SHS graduate with the ability to read, comprehend, and write clearly
• Strong passion for working with young children and early childhood education
• Commitment to building a career in Early Years education
• Caring, patient, and positive attitude toward children
• Willingness to learn, take initiative, and work as part of a team
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to follow instructions and remain well-organized and reliable
• Previous experience working with children is an added advantage but not mandatory
• Candidates residing within 5–10 miles of Achimota will be highly considered
