The company is seeking an experienced ERP Project Manager to lead enterprise-wide ERP implementation initiatives across its mining operations and corporate functions.

Job Summary

The ERP Project Manager will oversee the planning, execution, and successful delivery of ERP implementation projects across multiple operational sites. The successful candidate will lead cross-functional teams, manage project timelines and budgets, coordinate vendors and system integrators, and ensure alignment between business objectives and technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end ERP implementation projects across multiple operational locations.
  • Develop project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation strategies.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams, vendors, and systems integrators to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Manage ERP implementation lifecycle activities, including planning, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-implementation support.
  • Conduct business process analysis, process mapping, and workflow redesign activities.
  • Oversee data migration planning, validation, and governance processes.
  • Coordinate systems integration and API connectivity requirements.
  • Ensure adherence to cybersecurity standards and best practices within ERP environments.
  • Monitor project risks, issues, and dependencies while implementing mitigation strategies.
  • Prepare executive reports, presentations, and project status updates for stakeholders.
  • Drive stakeholder engagement, communication, and change management initiatives.
  • Support reporting, analytics, and cloud-based ERP deployment activities.
  • Ensure accountability, quality assurance, and compliance throughout project execution.

Educational Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • Project Management certification such as PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent is strongly preferred.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum of 8 years of professional project management experience.
  • Proven experience delivering full ERP implementations in a Project Manager or Deputy Project Manager role.
  • ERP implementation certification and/or demonstrated ERP delivery expertise.
  • Experience working with agile or hybrid project delivery methodologies is an advantage.
  • Hands-on experience implementing mid-tier or enterprise ERP solutions such as Pronto, SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards, or Microsoft Dynamics.
  • Experience working within mining or other asset-intensive operational environments.
  • Demonstrated success managing multi-site ERP deployments.
  • Strong experience in vendor and systems integrator management.
  • Experience leading large, cross-functional teams and managing project budgets effectively.

Key Competencies

  • Strong business process analysis and workflow redesign capabilities.
  • Knowledge of data migration, governance, and systems integration processes.
  • Cybersecurity awareness within ERP implementation environments.
  • Exposure to cloud-based ERP solutions and reporting analytics tools.
  • OT/IT integration experience is highly desirable within mining operations.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, stakeholder management, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Strong leadership abilities with a proven capacity to drive accountability and project success.
