The successful candidate will oversee financial reporting, tax compliance, project accounting, reconciliations, and internal controls while ensuring compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements in Ghana.

The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, leadership ability, and extensive accounting experience, particularly within the real estate, construction, or property development sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate monthly management accounts, cashflow reports, and financial reconciliations within strict reporting timelines.
- Manage all Ghana tax compliance obligations including PAYE, SSNIT, VAT, Withholding Tax, NHIL, GETFund Levy, and Corporate Tax filings.
- Monitor project costs, contractor payments, stock audits, and real estate accounting activities.
- Maintain strong internal controls and ensure compliance with company financial policies and statutory regulations.
- Identify and resolve financial discrepancies while ensuring accuracy in all accounting records.
- Support internal and external audit processes and ensure timely submission of required documentation.
- Supervise and guide junior accounting staff to ensure efficient finance operations.
- Prepare financial analyses and reports to support management decision-making.
- Ensure confidentiality, integrity, and professionalism in all financial operations.
Key Skills & Competencies
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 5+ years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in real estate, construction, or property development.
- Strong working knowledge of Ghana tax laws, SSNIT regulations, and statutory compliance requirements.
- Proven hands-on experience in Ghana tax compliance including PAYE, SSNIT, VAT, Withholding Tax, NHIL, GETFund Levy, and Corporate Tax filings.
- Demonstrated ability to prepare accurate monthly management accounts, cashflow reports, and reconciliations.
- Experience in project accounting, contractor payment management, stock audits, and project cost monitoring.
- Strong audit, compliance, and leadership capabilities.
- High level of integrity, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
- Professional accounting qualifications will be an added advantage.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict reporting deadlines.
