Job Summary

Our client, a reputable international manufacturing company, is seeking hardworking and technically skilled individuals to join their steel processing factory team. Successful candidates will be responsible for operating steel processing machinery, supporting production activities, maintaining product quality standards, and ensuring safe and efficient factory operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate steel processing and fabrication machinery including cutting, bending, pressing, and profiling equipment.
• Perform production activities in line with technical drawings, specifications, and operational procedures.
• Operate and maintain machinery such as bending machines, shearing machines, and steel forming equipment.
• Conduct routine equipment inspections, cleaning, and basic maintenance to ensure smooth operations.
• Monitor product quality throughout the production process and report any defects or irregularities promptly.
• Assist with material handling, stacking, and organization of raw materials and finished products.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness within the production area in line with workplace safety and 5S standards.
• Adhere strictly to workplace health and safety regulations and use protective equipment appropriately.
• Record production activities and report equipment faults, shortages, or operational challenges to supervisors.
• Work closely with the production team to achieve daily production targets.
• Carry out any other factory or production-related duties assigned by management.

Requirements

Educational & Professional Requirements

• Minimum of Junior High School or Senior High School qualification.
• Technical/Vocational qualification such as NVTI Certificate II in Welding, Fabrication, Mechanical Engineering, Metal Works or related field will be an added advantage.
• Previous experience in steel fabrication, roofing sheet production, sheet metal works, or related manufacturing operations is highly preferred.
• Experience operating industrial processing machinery will be an added advantage.
• Candidates with technical or vocational training in fabrication, welding, machining, or manufacturing are encouraged to apply.

Skills & Competencies

• Ability to operate industrial equipment such as shearing, bending, and pressing machines.
• Basic understanding of technical drawings and production specifications.
• Knowledge of factory safety procedures and safe machine operation practices.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Physically fit and able to work in a factory production environment.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
• Reliable, disciplined, and able to follow instructions effectively.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet production deadlines.
