Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Tractor Driver to support our reforestation operations within the Juaso Forest District. The successful candidate will operate tractors and heavy-duty agricultural machinery to support land preparation, plantation maintenance, and other field activities essential to the success of the project.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate tractors and heavy-duty agricultural machinery safely and efficiently
• Support land preparation, planting, transportation, and maintenance activities within plantation sites
• Conduct routine equipment inspections before and after operations
• Identify and report equipment faults or maintenance needs promptly
• Ensure machinery is used in accordance with operational and safety procedures
• Maintain accurate records of equipment usage and field activities
• Assist field teams in achieving operational and reforestation targets
• Ensure proper care, cleanliness, and maintenance of assigned equipment

Education and Experience

• Minimum of JHS or SHS education
• Valid Ghanaian driver’s license with experience operating tractors or heavy-duty agricultural machinery
• Minimum of 2 years’ practical tractor driving experience in agriculture, forestry, construction, or plantation operations
• Basic mechanical knowledge with the ability to identify equipment faults and operational issues

• Good teamwork and communication skills
• High level of responsibility and attention to detail
• Ability to follow operational instructions and schedules efficiently
