Position Summary

We invite applications from suitably qualified and distinguished academics for appointment to the rank of Professor within the Business School. Successful candidates will provide academic leadership in teaching, research, mentorship, and institutional development in alignment with the standards of a leading public university.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide strategic academic leadership in teaching, research, and curriculum development
• Deliver high-level lectures at undergraduate and postgraduate levels
• Supervise Ph.D. and postgraduate research work
• Conduct and publish impactful research in high-ranking peer-reviewed journals
• Lead academic programs, research initiatives, and institutional development projects
• Mentor junior faculty members and support their academic growth
• Contribute to community engagement and professional service activities
• Strengthen industry-academic collaborations and partnerships

Requirements

Applicants must:

• Possess a Ph.D. in a relevant field of specialization
• Have been appointed as a Professor in a recognized university with comparable standards to Ghana Communication Technology University (GCTU)
• Demonstrate at least three (3) years of experience as an Associate Professor
• Provide evidence of at least fifteen (15) peer-reviewed publications in recognized journals
• OR be appointed as an Associate Professor and undergo the University’s promotion process upon appointment
• Provide names and addresses of three (3) referees
