Key Responsibilities
- Record and maintain accurate financial transactions.
- Prepare payment vouchers, invoices, and receipts.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
- Reconcile bank statements and ledger accounts regularly.
- Assist in preparing monthly financial reports and statements.
- Monitor company expenses and ensure proper documentation.
- Process and manage petty cash transactions.
- Support payroll preparation and statutory payments.
- Maintain organized accounting files and records.
- Assist with budget tracking and expense monitoring.
- Ensure compliance with tax and financial regulations.
- Support internal and external audit activities.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional accounting qualification will be an added advantage.
- Minimum of 1–3 years’ experience in an accounting or finance role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software such as QuickBooks.
- Good understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
