Role Overview
The Driller will operate and maintain drilling equipment to support safe and efficient mining operations. The successful candidate will ensure drilling activities are completed according to operational standards, safety procedures, and production targets while maintaining high levels of equipment performance and reliability.

Key Responsibilities
- Operate drill rigs safely and efficiently in accordance with operational procedures and safety standards.
- Perform drilling activities to support mining and production operations.
- Conduct pre-operational inspections and routine equipment checks to ensure optimal performance.
- Monitor drilling operations and identify equipment or operational issues promptly.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding drilling progress and operational concerns.
- Follow all safety procedures, hazardous material handling requirements, and mining regulations.
- Operate two-way radio systems and follow instructions accurately.
- Maintain drilling records, reports, and operational documentation as required.
- Support troubleshooting and basic maintenance activities on drilling equipment.
- Contribute to maintaining a safe, productive, and collaborative work environment.
Qualifications & Experience
Formal Qualification
- Senior High School Certificate.
Additional Knowledge
- MINCOM Equipment Competency.
- License E (Drill).
- Strong understanding of drill tool mechanical systems.
- General understanding of mining operations.
- General understanding of equipment controls and electronics.
- General knowledge of mid-to-heavy equipment operation.
Experience
- Minimum of two (2) to three (3) years’ drilling and off-siding experience in a large open pit or quarry environment.
- Competency in D45KS, DR560, and DPi drill rigs.
