Role Overview
The Cost Controller will oversee cost management, inventory control, and financial tracking within food and beverage operations. The successful candidate will ensure accurate cost analysis, efficient stock control, and effective monitoring of operational expenses to support profitability and business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and control food, beverage, and operational costs across all outlets.
- Track inventory levels and ensure accurate stock management and reconciliation.
- Analyze cost trends and provide regular reports on variances, wastage, and efficiency.
- Implement and maintain standard costing procedures for menu items and operations.
- Work closely with procurement, kitchen, and operations teams to optimize cost efficiency.
- Conduct regular stock audits and ensure accurate inventory records.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or service standards.
- Prepare detailed cost and financial reports for management review.
- Ensure compliance with internal financial controls and operational procedures.
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes for food and beverage operations.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum of 2–3 years’ experience in cost control, accounting, and financial analysis.
- Strong experience in the food and beverage or hospitality industry is required.
- Solid understanding of food costing, inventory management, and stock control systems.
