Role Summary
The Accountant will manage day-to-day accounting activities, ensure accurate financial reporting, and support the integrity of financial systems and processes. The successful candidate will maintain strong financial controls, support management reporting, and contribute to effective decision-making across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities
Financial Accounting & Reporting
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records and general ledger entries
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes
- Reconcile accounts and investigate financial discrepancies
- Ensure timely and accurate posting of financial transactions
Budgeting & Financial Control
- Support budget preparation and monitoring processes
- Track expenditures and ensure adherence to approved budgets
- Assist in maintaining strong internal financial controls
- Support variance analysis and financial performance reviews
Payables, Receivables & Reconciliations
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes
- Ensure proper documentation for all financial transactions
- Perform bank reconciliations and cash flow tracking
- Monitor outstanding balances and support follow-up processes
Compliance & Reporting Support
- Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
- Support audit processes and respond to audit queries
- Assist in tax-related documentation and statutory reporting
- Maintain accurate and organized financial records for review and audits
Systems & Data Management
- Use financial systems to record, process, and analyse financial data
- Maintain accurate spreadsheets and reports using Microsoft Excel
- Support improvements in financial data accuracy and reporting efficiency
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field
Experience & Skills
- 4–7 years of relevant experience in accounting and finance roles
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial systems
- Excellent written and spoken English communication skills
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
