We are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Engineer to oversee infrastructure maintenance systems, ensure optimal facility performance, and support the effective management of the University’s physical assets.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage maintenance of university buildings, infrastructure, and facilities.
• Develop and implement preventive and corrective maintenance schedules.
• Inspect facilities regularly to identify maintenance needs and ensure safety compliance.
• Coordinate repair works and supervise maintenance contractors and technical teams.
• Ensure effective management of utilities, equipment, and campus infrastructure systems.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, reports, and asset documentation.
• Support infrastructure planning, upgrades, and improvement projects.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
• Collaborate with internal departments to support operational efficiency.

Qualification Required & Experience

Applicants must possess the following:

• A minimum of a Master’s Degree in Built Environment, Estate Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• Membership of the Ghana Institute of Engineers or a relevant professional body.
• Considerable post-qualification practical, hands-on experience in maintenance within a university or similar institution.
• Strong knowledge of facilities maintenance systems and infrastructure management in a tertiary institution or equivalent environment.
