Position Summary
The QA/QC Engineer will be responsible for implementing and monitoring quality assurance and quality control processes across project activities. The successful candidate will ensure that all materials, equipment, and construction activities comply with project specifications, engineering standards, regulatory requirements, and quality management systems.

Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will:
- Develop, implement, and maintain the Project Quality Management Plan.
- Establish and monitor Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) for project activities.
- Review contractor quality procedures, method statements, and inspection processes.
- Conduct inspections of materials, equipment, installations, and construction activities.
- Verify compliance with project specifications, approved drawings, engineering standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and ensure timely implementation of corrective actions.
- Coordinate testing, pre-commissioning, and commissioning inspection activities.
- Maintain accurate quality records, documentation, and inspection reports.
- Participate in material receiving inspections and factory acceptance tests (FATs).
- Conduct quality audits, surveillance activities, and compliance assessments on project sites.
- Verify the calibration and maintenance of testing and measuring equipment.
- Prepare quality performance reports, metrics, and management updates.
Qualification Requirements
Applicants must possess:
- A Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
- A minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience in QA/QC for transmission line, substation, or power infrastructure projects.
- Strong knowledge and practical understanding of ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems.
- Experience in inspection, testing, commissioning, and quality control processes within engineering or infrastructure projects.
- Familiarity with utility standards, engineering specifications, and quality compliance procedures.

General Requirements
Applicants should possess:
- Experience working on high-voltage transmission and substation projects, preferably 161kV or above.
- Strong knowledge of utility standards, engineering codes, and regulatory requirements.
- Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams and remote project environments.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and relevant engineering or project management software.
- Commitment to quality, safety, environmental stewardship, and ethical conduct.
- Ability to maintain high professional standards while working under pressure.
