Job Summary

Kharis Management Consult Limited seeks a results-driven Production Manager to oversee poultry farm production operations. The successful candidate will manage daily production activities, improve operational efficiency, and ensure high standards of flock health, productivity, and biosecurity across the farm.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all poultry production operations, including brooding, grow-out, and general farm management activities.
• Develop and implement production plans to achieve output and performance targets.
• Supervise farm staff and ensure adherence to standard operating procedures.
• Monitor flock health, growth performance, and production efficiency.
• Enforce strict biosecurity, hygiene, and animal welfare standards across the farm.
• Manage feed usage, farm inputs, and equipment to ensure efficient resource utilization.
• Coordinate with veterinary and technical teams to maintain optimal flock health.
• Maintain accurate production records and prepare performance reports for management.
• Identify operational challenges and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and farm profitability.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Relevant qualification or certification in Agriculture, Animal Science, Poultry Production, or a related field.
• Proven experience in poultry production or farm management.
• Strong leadership and team supervision skills.
• Good understanding of poultry farming operations, biosecurity, and animal health management.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced agricultural environment.
• High attention to detail and commitment to production excellence.
