Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP)

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to join our team in Accra. The successful candidate will play a strategic role in aligning HR initiatives with business objectives while fostering a positive and engaging workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic HR Partnership

  • Partner with department heads to identify business and workforce needs.
  • Provide professional HR guidance and support to management on employee-related matters.
  • Develop and implement HR initiatives that align with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Support organizational development initiatives and change management processes.

Employee Relations & Performance Management

  • Manage employee relations matters including grievances, disciplinary actions, and workplace conflict resolution.
  • Support managers in performance management and employee development activities.
  • Coordinate and ensure timely completion of employee performance reviews.
  • Monitor employee engagement levels and recommend improvement initiatives.

Recruitment & Talent Management

  • Oversee end-to-end recruitment and onboarding processes.
  • Ensure timely sourcing and hiring of qualified candidates.
  • Support talent development and succession planning initiatives.
  • Monitor probation assessments and employee confirmation processes.

HR Operations & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with Ghana labor laws and internal HR policies.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.
  • Oversee payroll inputs, leave administration, and attendance management.
  • Ensure effective implementation of HR policies, procedures, and best practices.

Training & Development

  • Identify organizational and departmental training needs.
  • Coordinate staff training and development programs.
  • Evaluate training effectiveness and support continuous employee growth.

Team Supervision

  • Supervise and support junior HR team members.
  • Delegate responsibilities and monitor team performance.
  • Ensure efficient and professional HR service delivery.
  • Promote teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement within the HR team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5–7 years of progressive HR experience, including supervisory responsibilities.
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in HR systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • High level of professionalism, confidentiality, and organizational skills.
