REFRIGERATION TECHNICIAN (FULL-TIME)

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Refrigeration Technician to join our technical team. The successful candidate will support the installation, maintenance, and repair of refrigeration and cooling systems that are essential to our production and operational processes.

Position Summary

As a Refrigeration Technician, you will install, service, and maintain refrigeration and cooling systems to ensure optimal performance and operational efficiency. You will play a key role in maintaining equipment reliability, minimizing downtime, and supporting safe and continuous production operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, and maintain refrigeration and cooling systems used in production and facility operations.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults in refrigeration systems and implement timely repairs.
• Perform preventive maintenance to ensure optimal system performance and reduce downtime.
• Monitor system performance and ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.
• Support troubleshooting and resolution of refrigeration-related technical issues.
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs and service records.
• Ensure proper handling and use of refrigeration tools, equipment, and materials.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to support production efficiency.
• Follow all health, safety, and environmental regulations at all times.
• Report major faults and recommend improvements to system performance.

Educational Requirements

• HND, Diploma, or Technical Certificate in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning or a related field.

Qualification & Experience

• Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in refrigeration and cooling system maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of refrigeration systems, components, and troubleshooting techniques.
• Experience in industrial or manufacturing environments is an advantage.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and system diagrams.
• Strong understanding of safety procedures and preventive maintenance practices.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a technical team.
