On behalf of our client, we are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Electrician to join a growing technical team in Oyibi. Role Overview

As an Electrician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems, equipment, and infrastructure. You will ensure all electrical work is carried out safely, efficiently, and in compliance with industry standards and organizational procedures.

The successful candidate will demonstrate strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and a commitment to workplace safety.

Key Responsibilities

You will:

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, systems, and equipment.
• Diagnose electrical faults and implement effective repair solutions.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems.
• Ensure all electrical installations comply with safety regulations and standards.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, electrical diagrams, and work instructions.
• Test electrical systems and components using appropriate testing devices.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance work, repairs, and inspections.
• Respond promptly to electrical emergencies and breakdowns.
• Collaborate with other technical staff to support operational needs.
• Ensure proper use and maintenance of tools, equipment, and materials.
• Adhere strictly to workplace health and safety regulations.
• Recommend improvements to enhance system efficiency and reliability.

Qualifications & Experience

Education

You should possess:

• A Diploma, HND, or Technical Certificate in:
  • Electrical Engineering
  • Electrical Installation
  • Or a related technical field

Experience

You should have:

• A minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of practical experience as an electrician.
• Experience in installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in commercial, industrial, or residential settings.
• Strong understanding of electrical safety standards and procedures.

Additional Requirement

• Ability to read, interpret, and follow technical instructions, wiring diagrams, and electrical documentation.
