Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Channel Sales Supervisor to join our Sales Team in Accra. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving channel sales performance, supervising sales representatives, developing customer relationships, and ensuring the achievement of sales objectives across assigned territories.

This position offers an exciting opportunity for a motivated sales professional to contribute to the growth of a leading manufacturing organization while developing leadership and commercial expertise.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will:

  • Identify customer needs and provide tailored product solutions that enhance customer satisfaction and long-term business relationships.
  • Plan, organize, and manage sales representatives’ schedules to ensure effective market coverage and operational efficiency.
  • Research and identify new business opportunities through market intelligence, business directories, digital platforms, and networking activities.
  • Receive, monitor, and track sales leads, ensuring timely follow-up and accurate reporting.
  • Supervise, mentor, and motivate sales representatives to achieve and exceed individual and team sales targets.
  • Respond to customer inquiries promptly and ensure effective follow-up on potential sales opportunities.
  • Monitor sales activities and performance metrics to ensure alignment with departmental goals and business objectives.
  • Drive sales growth by implementing effective sales strategies and channel development initiatives.
  • Ensure sales quotas, revenue targets, and key performance indicators are consistently achieved.
  • Provide coaching, training, and performance support to strengthen the effectiveness of the sales team.
  • Maintain accurate sales records, forecasts, and performance reports.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by Management to support business growth and operational success.

Qualification Required & Experience

Applicants must:

  • Hold a Master’s degree or higher in Sales & Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Possess a minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience within the building materials, construction, manufacturing, or related industries.
  • Demonstrate strong communication, negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Have proven experience leading or supervising sales teams and driving measurable sales performance.
  • Be willing and able to travel as required to support business operations and market development activities.
  • Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to implement critical and measurable initiatives that improve sales performance and operational efficiency.
  • Demonstrate a proactive, results-oriented, and customer-focused approach to work.
  • Be proficient in Microsoft Office applications and sales reporting tools.
