We are seeking a talented and creative Video Editor to join our growing media team. This role is ideal for a passionate content creator who can transform raw footage into engaging visual stories that resonate with television and digital audiences.

Position Overview

As a Video Editor, you will be responsible for editing high-quality video content for television, social media, digital platforms, and special productions. You will work closely with videographers, producers, and content creators to develop compelling stories that capture the realities, opportunities, and successes within Ghana’s agricultural sector.

The successful candidate will combine technical expertise, creativity, and storytelling skills to produce professional multimedia content that engages and informs audiences.

Key Responsibilities

Video Editing & Post-Production

• Edit high-quality video content for television broadcasts, online platforms, and social media channels.
• Transform raw footage into compelling visual stories that align with production objectives.
• Perform color correction, sound enhancement, transitions, and visual effects to improve production quality.
• Ensure all content meets brand, editorial, and technical standards.
• Organize, manage, and archive video assets efficiently.

Multimedia Content Production

• Collaborate with producers and videographers to plan and execute creative content projects.
• Support video shoots and content production activities when required.
• Assist in capturing high-quality video footage for field assignments and special projects.
• Contribute creative ideas for storytelling, content formats, and audience engagement.

Graphics & Animation

• Create engaging graphics, lower thirds, title sequences, and visual effects.
• Develop motion graphics and animations to enhance storytelling and viewer engagement.
• Design content suitable for television, YouTube, social media, and digital campaigns.
• Maintain visual consistency across all media productions.

Drone Operations & Field Assignments

• Operate drones safely and professionally to capture aerial footage where required.
• Support field production teams during assignments across Ghana.
• Travel to various locations to document agricultural stories, events, and community initiatives.
• Ensure all production equipment is maintained and operational.

Qualifications & Experience

Education

• Diploma, HND, Degree, or professional certification in Film Production, Multimedia, Digital Media, Journalism, Graphic Design, Animation, or a related field is preferred.

Experience

• Proven experience in video editing, multimedia production, or content creation.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating professional editing and storytelling capabilities.
• Experience creating content for television, digital platforms, or social media is highly desirable.
• Experience operating drones and capturing aerial footage is an advantage.
