We are seeking a skilled and creative Drone Pilot to join our media production team. This role is ideal for a professional who is passionate about aerial cinematography, visual storytelling, and creating engaging content that captures the beauty and impact of agriculture across Ghana.

Position Overview

As a Drone Pilot, you will be responsible for planning and executing aerial video productions, capturing high-quality footage, and supporting multimedia content creation for television, digital platforms, and social media. You will work closely with producers, videographers, and editors to deliver visually compelling stories that engage audiences and promote Ghana’s agricultural sector.

The successful candidate will combine technical drone operation expertise with creativity, attention to detail, and a willingness to travel extensively across Ghana for field assignments.

Key Responsibilities

Drone Operations

• Plan and execute safe and professional drone flights for video and photography assignments.
• Capture high-quality aerial footage for television productions, documentaries, promotional content, and digital media campaigns.
• Conduct pre-flight inspections and ensure all drone equipment is fully operational.
• Monitor weather conditions, flight environments, and safety requirements before and during operations.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable aviation, drone, and safety regulations.
• Maintain accurate flight logs and operational records.

Video Production & Content Creation

• Support field production teams in capturing high-quality video content.
• Operate cameras and assist with ground-based filming when required.
• Contribute creative ideas to enhance visual storytelling through aerial perspectives.
• Collaborate with producers and content creators to achieve project objectives.
• Capture footage that supports agricultural documentaries, interviews, events, and feature stories.

Editing, Graphics & Multimedia Support

• Assist with editing professional video content for television and social media platforms.
• Support the development of engaging graphics, animations, and visual effects where required.
• Work with the post-production team to ensure footage is organized and delivered efficiently.
• Maintain high visual and technical standards across all productions.

Field Assignments

• Travel extensively across Ghana to cover agricultural projects, events, farms, agribusinesses, and rural communities.
• Adapt to diverse field conditions while maintaining production quality and safety standards.
• Build positive relationships with stakeholders, interviewees, and local communities during assignments.
• Support the successful execution of location-based productions.

Qualifications & Experience

Education

• Diploma, HND, Degree, or professional certification in Film Production, Multimedia, Aviation, Digital Media, Journalism, Photography, or a related field is preferred.

Experience

• Proven experience operating drones for professional photography, videography, media production, or related purposes.
• Experience in aerial cinematography and visual storytelling is highly desirable.
• Experience supporting video production and multimedia projects is an advantage.
• Demonstrated portfolio of drone footage and related creative work is required.
