As we continue to grow, we are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented HR Officer to join our team in Accra. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a dynamic workplace by supporting people operations, enhancing employee experiences, and driving HR excellence across the organization.

Your Responsibilities

HR Operations & Administration

You will:

  • Support day-to-day HR operations, ensuring efficient administration of employee records, documentation, and HR-related requests.
  • Prepare and process employee correspondence, including employment letters, confirmations, and other HR documentation.
  • Coordinate HR meetings, communications, and project activities, ensuring timely follow-up on key actions.
  • Support internal HR communications and contribute to the continuous improvement of HR policies, procedures, and processes.
  • Maintain confidentiality and ensure the accuracy of employee information and records.

Recruitment & Onboarding

You will:

  • Coordinate job postings across relevant recruitment channels.
  • Manage candidate tracking, interview scheduling, and communication throughout the recruitment process.
  • Support hiring managers by facilitating recruitment activities and maintaining accurate recruitment records.
  • Coordinate onboarding activities for new employees and collaborate with internal stakeholders to deliver a seamless onboarding experience.
  • Ensure all onboarding documentation and processes are completed accurately and on time.

HRIS & Data Management

You will:

  • Maintain accurate employee information within the Human Resource Information System (HRIS).
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure data integrity and compliance with company standards.
  • Support the administration of HR processes including onboarding, offboarding, leave management, and employee lifecycle activities.
  • Generate HR reports and dashboards to support workforce planning and informed decision-making.
  • Assist the HR Manager with HR analytics and data preparation.

Performance Management

You will:

  • Coordinate performance review cycles and monitor completion rates across the organization.
  • Ensure performance documentation is maintained accurately and confidentially.
  • Provide guidance and support to employees and managers on performance management processes and systems.
  • Compile and analyze performance-related data to support reporting and continuous improvement initiatives.

Employee Experience & Culture

You will:

  • Support the planning and execution of employee engagement, wellness, and culture-building initiatives.
  • Serve as a first point of contact for employee queries and escalate issues where appropriate.
  • Assist with employee feedback collection, engagement surveys, and action-tracking initiatives.
  • Contribute to creating a positive, inclusive, and high-performing workplace culture.

What Will Make You Successful?

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Social Sciences, or a related field.

Experience

  • Minimum of two (2) to three (3) years of experience in Human Resources, Administration, or a related role.
  • Experience supporting recruitment, onboarding, employee administration, and HR operations.
  • Familiarity with Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS), such as BambooHR or similar platforms, will be an advantage.

  • Analytical thinking and the ability to generate meaningful reports from HR data.
