Position Summary

Tomreik Hotel is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Banquet Coordinator to plan, coordinate, and execute events hosted at the hotel. The successful candidate will manage weddings, conferences, corporate events, and social functions while ensuring seamless delivery from planning to completion.

The role requires strong coordination skills, client engagement ability, and a commitment to delivering exceptional event experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate, and oversee all banquet and event activities within the hotel.
  • Liaise with clients to understand event requirements and ensure expectations are met.
  • Coordinate event logistics, including venue setup, equipment, catering, and staffing.
  • Collaborate with kitchen, service, and technical teams to ensure smooth event execution.
  • Prepare and manage event schedules, floor plans, and function details.
  • Ensure timely setup and breakdown of event spaces according to client specifications.
  • Monitor events in real time and resolve any operational issues promptly.
  • Maintain accurate records of bookings, contracts, and event details.
  • Ensure compliance with hotel standards and customer service expectations.
  • Support post-event evaluations and gather client feedback for service improvement.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Proven experience in event coordination, banquet management, or hospitality operations.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication and client relationship management abilities.
  • Ability to coordinate multiple teams and manage event logistics effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and deliver high-quality results.
  • Knowledge of hospitality operations and event planning processes is an advantage.
