Position Summary
We are seeking a strategic, creative, and results-driven Social Media Manager to join our in-house team. The successful candidate will lead the development and execution of social media strategies that drive brand growth, audience engagement, and community development across multiple platforms.
This role requires a professional who can effectively manage the social media presence of up to six (6) brands simultaneously while delivering measurable results through content strategy, audience growth initiatives, performance analysis, and community management.
Key Responsibilities
Social Media Strategy & Growth
- Develop and implement social media strategies aligned with brand objectives and business goals.
- Manage the social media presence of up to six (6) brands across multiple platforms.
- Identify opportunities to increase brand visibility, audience engagement, and community growth.
- Develop and execute growth-focused campaigns that drive reach, engagement, and conversions.
- Monitor industry trends, platform updates, and emerging digital opportunities to keep brands competitive.
Community Management
- Build, nurture, and manage active online communities across social media channels.
- Respond to comments, messages, and audience inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Foster meaningful engagement and strengthen relationships with followers, customers, and brand advocates.
- Monitor brand sentiment and support reputation management efforts.
Content & Campaign Management
- Collaborate with content creators, graphic designers, and marketing teams to develop engaging content and campaigns.
- Oversee content calendars and ensure consistent content delivery across all assigned brands.
- Ensure all content aligns with brand voice, identity, and marketing objectives.
- Support the execution of paid and organic social media campaigns.
Analytics & Reporting
- Track, analyze, and report on key social media performance metrics.
- Use data-driven insights to optimize strategies and improve campaign effectiveness.
- Prepare regular performance reports and recommendations for stakeholders.
- Monitor competitor activities and benchmark performance against industry standards.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Must be based in Ghana.
- Proven experience in social media management, digital marketing, community management, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of major social media platforms, algorithms, and best practices.
- Experience developing and executing audience growth and engagement strategies.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret performance data and generate actionable insights.
- Experience using social media management, scheduling, and analytics tools.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple brands and projects simultaneously.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
