We are seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Credit & Recovery Officer to join our team. In this role, you will actively manage credit assessments, monitor customer repayments, and drive effective recovery processes that support the company’s financial stability and growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate credit applications and assess the creditworthiness of clients seeking automotive financing.
• Monitor loan and credit portfolios to ensure timely repayment and reduce default risk.
• Implement and execute effective debt recovery strategies to minimize delinquency.
• Follow up on overdue accounts and engage customers to agree on repayment solutions.
• Conduct field visits for customer verification, monitoring, and recovery activities.
• Manage credit documentation and maintain accurate financial and customer records.
• Identify potential credit risks and recommend corrective or preventive actions.
• Prepare regular credit performance and recovery reports for management review.
• Ensure compliance with internal credit policies and applicable regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with sales, finance, and operations teams to improve portfolio quality and customer experience.

Qualifications and Requirements

• HND or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Banking, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience in credit analysis, loan recovery, microfinance, or a related financial role.
• Strong advantage for candidates with experience in asset financing (vehicles, trucks, and equipment).
• Solid understanding of credit risk management and recovery processes.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and financial reporting tools.
• Valid driver’s license with willingness to travel frequently for field assignments.
• Must be resident in Tema or willing to relocate to Tema.
