Assistant Registrar (Full-Time)

Location: Koforidua, Ghana

Position Summary

The University invites applications from qualified and experienced professionals for the position of Assistant Registrar (Full-Time). The successful candidate will support the Registrar’s Department in academic administration, records management, committee coordination, and general institutional governance processes.


Key Responsibilities

The Assistant Registrar will:

  • Support the administration of academic and institutional policies
  • Coordinate and document committee meetings and official proceedings
  • Manage student and staff records in line with university regulations
  • Assist in the preparation of official correspondence and reports
  • Support examinations, admissions, and graduation processes
  • Liaise with academic and administrative departments to ensure smooth operations
  • Ensure compliance with university statutes and regulatory frameworks
  • Contribute to the effective implementation of administrative systems

Qualification Required & Experience

Applicants must:

  • Possess a Master’s degree in Public Administration, Management, Higher Education Administration, or a related field
  • Have at least three (3) years post-qualification experience as a Junior Assistant Registrar or in a comparable administrative role in a university or similar institution
  • Demonstrate strong understanding of academic administration and institutional governance
