Position Summary

Peduase Valley Resort is seeking a diligent, responsible, and detail-oriented Public Area Attendant to join our housekeeping team. The successful candidate will ensure that all public areas of the resort remain clean, well-maintained, and visually appealing at all times.

This role requires an individual who takes pride in cleanliness, demonstrates strong attention to detail, and contributes to creating a positive and welcoming environment for guests.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain all public areas of the resort, including lobbies, corridors, restrooms, lounges, and outdoor walkways.
• Ensure all assigned areas are tidy, hygienic, and presentable at all times.
• Perform routine inspections of public spaces and report maintenance issues promptly.
• Replenish supplies such as soap, tissue, and hand sanitizers in public restrooms and facilities.
• Assist in maintaining cleanliness during events, conferences, and peak guest periods.
• Operate cleaning equipment and tools safely and effectively.
• Follow established cleaning schedules and housekeeping standards.
• Dispose of waste properly and ensure adherence to environmental and safety guidelines.
• Respond promptly to guest requests related to cleanliness or assistance.
• Support the housekeeping team in maintaining overall resort presentation standards.

Educational Requirements

• Higher National Diploma (HND) or Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Management, Environmental Health, Housekeeping Operations, or a related field.

Experience and Qualifications

• Minimum of two (2) to three (3) years of relevant experience in housekeeping, janitorial services, or hospitality operations.
• Strong knowledge of cleaning procedures and hygiene standards.
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and efficiently.
• Good attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Physically fit and able to perform cleaning duties for extended periods.
