Position Summary

Peduase Valley Resort is seeking a skilled, energetic, and customer-focused Barman to join our Food and Beverage team. The successful candidate will prepare and serve beverages, engage with guests professionally, and maintain a clean, well-organized bar environment.

This role requires an individual who delivers excellent service, maintains high hygiene standards, and contributes to a vibrant and enjoyable guest experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and guest preferences.
• Engage guests in a friendly and professional manner to enhance their experience.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and hygiene standards at the bar area at all times.
• Monitor stock levels and assist in inventory control, stock rotation, and ordering.
• Ensure proper handling, storage, and usage of bar equipment and supplies.
• Process guest orders accurately and handle payments where required.
• Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
• Support the Food and Beverage team during peak periods, events, and special functions.
• Handle guest inquiries and complaints professionally and promptly.
• Ensure responsible service of alcohol in compliance with resort policies.

Educational Requirements

• Higher National Diploma (HND) or Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Management, Food and Beverage Service, Tourism, or a related field.

Experience and Qualifications

• Minimum of two (2) to three (3) years of relevant experience as a barman, bartender, or in food and beverage service.
• Strong knowledge of beverage preparation, bar operations, and service standards.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to service excellence.
• Ability to handle cash transactions accurately.
• Team-oriented with a positive and professional attitude.
