Position Summary

Peduase Valley Resort is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented, and hardworking Laundry Attendant to join our housekeeping team. The successful candidate will ensure all linens, uniforms, and guest laundry items are cleaned, processed, and presented to the highest standards.

This role requires an individual who is committed to cleanliness, efficiency, and maintaining the quality and presentation standards expected in a luxury hospitality environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, sort, and process laundry items including guest clothing, linens, towels, and staff uniforms.
• Operate washing, drying, pressing, and folding equipment safely and efficiently.
• Ensure all laundry items are cleaned and finished according to resort quality standards.
• Inspect items for stains, damage, or special care requirements before and after washing.
• Maintain proper handling and storage of chemicals, detergents, and laundry supplies.
• Monitor laundry stock levels and report shortages or maintenance needs.
• Ensure cleanliness, organization, and hygiene of the laundry area at all times.
• Support the housekeeping team in delivering timely linen and uniform services.
• Follow all health, safety, and operational procedures within the laundry department.
• Handle guest laundry requests promptly and professionally.

Educational Requirements

• Higher National Diploma (HND) or Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Management, Housekeeping Operations, Environmental Health, or a related field.

Experience and Qualifications

• Minimum of two (2) to three (3) years of relevant experience in laundry operations, housekeeping, or hospitality services.
• Good knowledge of laundry processes, fabric care, and equipment operation.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and quality.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Basic understanding of hygiene and safety standards.
• Physically fit and able to handle demanding operational tasks.
