Recruitment Supervisor (Full-Time)

Location: Takoradi, Ghana

Position Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Recruitment Supervisor to lead and strengthen our talent acquisition efforts. The successful candidate will oversee recruitment operations, drive workforce planning initiatives, manage onboarding processes, and build strategic relationships within communities and stakeholder groups. This role requires a proactive leader who can effectively manage recruitment activities while developing a high-performing recruitment team.

Key Responsibilities

Recruitment & Talent Acquisition

  • Lead the recruitment of skilled workers, functional staff, and factory-floor personnel to meet organizational workforce needs.
  • Plan and execute recruitment campaigns and field recruitment drives within targeted communities.
  • Source, screen, and assess candidates to ensure the selection of qualified talent.
  • Lead salary discussions and negotiations for skilled and specialized positions.
  • Represent the company at recruitment events, stakeholder meetings, and community engagements.

Recruitment Operations & Reporting

  • Oversee and maintain the Offer Approval (OA) Sheet, ensuring accurate and up-to-date recruitment data.
  • Prepare, analyze, and present recruitment reports and workforce metrics to management.
  • Monitor recruitment performance indicators and recommend process improvements.
  • Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and confidentiality of recruitment records.

Onboarding & Employee Integration

  • Supervise onboarding activities to ensure a smooth and positive employee experience.
  • Coordinate with banking institutions to facilitate account creation and verification for new employees.
  • Ensure all onboarding documentation is completed accurately and in compliance with company requirements.
  • Monitor and verify the completion of joining checklists for all new hires.
  • Manage the confirmation process for casual workers and maintain accurate employee records.

Stakeholder Engagement & Community Relations

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with assembly members, community leaders, artisan groups, and local influencers to support recruitment initiatives.
  • Develop partnerships that enhance the company’s employer brand and recruitment reach.
  • Serve as a professional ambassador for the company in both formal and community-based engagements.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Lead, coach, and supervise the recruitment team to achieve performance targets.
  • Promote best practices in recruitment, onboarding, and talent management.
  • Organize training and mentoring programs to strengthen team capabilities and improve operational efficiency.
  • Foster a collaborative, accountable, and high-performance team culture.

Candidate Profile

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Master’s Degree in a relevant discipline will be an added advantage.
  • Minimum of 4 years’ experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, or HR operations.
  • Proven experience recruiting for both factory-level and supervisory or professional positions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Strong analytical, reporting, and data management capabilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word.
  • Familiarity with online recruitment platforms and applicant tracking systems is desirable.
