Position Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Cook Assistant to support our catering and kitchen operations. The successful candidate will assist with food preparation, maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards, and contribute to the efficient delivery of catering services. This role is ideal for an individual who is reliable, physically fit, and committed to maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and cooking of meals according to established guidelines and recipes.
• Support the catering team in delivering efficient food service during peak periods.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen, dining, and food preparation areas.
• Wash, clean, and properly store kitchen utensils, equipment, and supplies.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation procedures at all times.
• Assist with receiving, storing, and organizing food supplies and ingredients.
• Ensure waste is disposed of properly and work areas remain clean and organized.
• Support the kitchen team in achieving high standards of food quality and service.

Required Qualifications

• JHS or SHS Certificate.
• Previous experience in a kitchen, catering, or food service environment will be an advantage.
• Physically fit and able to perform duties that require standing, lifting, and movement throughout the workday.
• Basic understanding of the English language.
• Strong awareness of food hygiene and sanitation practices.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Reliable, disciplined, and willing to learn.
