We are seeking a skilled and dependable Facility / Maintenance Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring that all facilities, equipment, and building systems operate efficiently and safely, contributing to a comfortable and enjoyable experience for our guests and staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections of facilities, equipment, and building systems to ensure optimal functionality.
• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and general facility systems.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and resolve technical issues efficiently.
• Diagnose faults and implement appropriate repairs to minimize downtime and disruptions.
• Monitor the condition of guest rooms, public areas, and operational facilities to ensure they meet company standards.
• Maintain maintenance records, service logs, and repair documentation accurately.
• Coordinate with external contractors and service providers when specialized repairs are required.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and operational regulations.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and maintenance supplies in good working condition.
• Support facility improvement projects and assist with installations, renovations, and upgrades.
• Report major maintenance concerns and recommend solutions to management.

Educational Requirements

• Technical Certificate, Trade Certificate, or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Building Maintenance, Facilities Management, or a related technical field.

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum of two (2) to three (3) years of experience in facility maintenance, building maintenance, engineering support, or a related technical role.
• Experience working in a hotel, resort, guest house, serviced apartment, or hospitality environment will be an advantage.
• Practical knowledge of electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and general maintenance systems.
• Ability to diagnose technical faults and perform repairs effectively.
• Familiarity with preventive maintenance practices and safety procedures.
