We are seeking enthusiastic and service-oriented individuals to join our Banqueting Support Team and help deliver exceptional events and functions.

Position Summary

The Banqueting Support Team will assist in the preparation, execution, and breakdown of banquets, conferences, weddings, and other special events. The successful candidates will ensure event venues are set up to the highest standards, provide excellent guest service, and contribute to the smooth operation of all banqueting activities.

Key Responsibilities

Event Preparation

  • Prepare banquet halls and event venues according to event specifications.
  • Arrange tables, chairs, linens, décor, and equipment for meetings, conferences, and special events.
  • Ensure all event areas are clean, organized, and ready before guests arrive.

Food & Beverage Service

  • Serve food and beverages professionally during banquets and events.
  • Assist guests courteously and respond promptly to requests.
  • Work closely with the kitchen and banquet teams to ensure timely service delivery.

Guest Service

  • Welcome guests with professionalism and courtesy.
  • Provide exceptional customer service throughout each event.
  • Address guest concerns promptly and escalate issues when necessary.

Event Breakdown & Housekeeping

  • Clear tables and remove event equipment after functions.
  • Clean and restore event venues to operational standards.
  • Ensure all banquet equipment and supplies are properly stored after use.

Team Collaboration

  • Work closely with supervisors and fellow team members to deliver successful events.
  • Follow hotel service standards, health, safety, and hygiene procedures.
  • Support other operational areas when required to ensure seamless service.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Senior High School (SHS) Certificate or a higher qualification.
  • Previous experience in hospitality, banqueting, catering, or event operations will be an advantage.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.
