We are seeking a skilled and dependable Electrician to support the maintenance and reliability of the hotel’s electrical systems.

Position Summary

The Electrician will install, inspect, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment throughout the hotel. The successful candidate will ensure all electrical installations operate safely and efficiently, respond promptly to maintenance requests, and help maintain uninterrupted hotel operations.

Key Responsibilities

Electrical Maintenance & Repairs

• Inspect, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, and equipment across the hotel.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical faults efficiently to minimize operational disruptions.
• Carry out preventive maintenance to ensure the reliability and longevity of electrical installations.

Installation & Upgrades

• Install electrical equipment, fixtures, lighting systems, and related components.
• Support renovation and improvement projects involving electrical systems.
• Ensure all installations comply with applicable electrical standards and safety regulations.

Inspection & Safety Compliance

• Conduct regular inspections of electrical systems to identify potential hazards and maintenance needs.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and electrical regulations.
• Report unsafe conditions and recommend corrective actions to prevent system failures and accidents.

Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain accurate records of inspections, maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment servicing.
• Report recurring electrical issues and recommend improvements to enhance system performance.
• Assist in developing preventive maintenance schedules.

Team Support

• Work closely with the maintenance team to support daily hotel operations.
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests.
• Contribute to maintaining a safe, efficient, and guest-friendly environment.

Qualifications & Experience

Applicants must possess:

• A Technical Certificate or equivalent qualification in Electrical Installation, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in electrical installation, maintenance, and repair.
• A valid electrician’s licence will be an added advantage.
• Previous experience in the hospitality, commercial, or facilities management sector is desirable.
