Key Responsibilities
As a Technical Operator, you will:
- Operate production equipment in accordance with Quality Management Standards (QMS), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and Work Instructions.
- Maintain the highest standards of personal safety while promoting a safe working environment for colleagues.
- Ensure equipment and work areas remain clean, organized, and hygienic in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and HACCP requirements.
- Carry out daily, weekly, and monthly housekeeping activities to support food safety and operational efficiency.
- Follow the First-In, First-Out (FIFO) inventory principle and ensure materials are used according to approved recipes and target specifications.
- Perform equipment start-up, operation, cleaning, inspection, lubrication, centre-lining, changeovers, routine maintenance, and shutdown activities.
- Monitor operational parameters and respond promptly to deviations to maintain production efficiency and product quality.
- Complete production records and documentation accurately to ensure full traceability.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives that enhance productivity, quality, and safety.
Qualification Required & Experience
Applicants should have:
- An Ordinary National Diploma (OND) or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- A minimum of two (2) years of production experience, preferably within the food manufacturing industry.
- Good knowledge of production line operations and manufacturing processes.

- The ability to operate and maintain production machines, equipment, and measuring instruments safely and effectively.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Intermediate computer literacy.
- A proactive attitude, attention to detail, and commitment to quality and continuous improvement.
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
