Key Responsibilities

As a Technical Operator, you will:

• Operate production equipment in accordance with Quality Management Standards (QMS), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and Work Instructions.
• Maintain the highest standards of personal safety while promoting a safe working environment for colleagues.
• Ensure equipment and work areas remain clean, organized, and hygienic in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and HACCP requirements.
• Carry out daily, weekly, and monthly housekeeping activities to support food safety and operational efficiency.
• Follow the First-In, First-Out (FIFO) inventory principle and ensure materials are used according to approved recipes and target specifications.
• Perform equipment start-up, operation, cleaning, inspection, lubrication, centre-lining, changeovers, routine maintenance, and shutdown activities.
• Monitor operational parameters and respond promptly to deviations to maintain production efficiency and product quality.
• Complete production records and documentation accurately to ensure full traceability.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives that enhance productivity, quality, and safety.

Qualification Required & Experience

Applicants should have:

• An Ordinary National Diploma (OND) or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• A minimum of two (2) years of production experience, preferably within the food manufacturing industry.
• Good knowledge of production line operations and manufacturing processes.
