Position Summary

Peduase Valley Resort is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented IT/Loss Prevention Officer to support the Resort’s technology infrastructure while safeguarding company assets, information, and facilities. The successful candidate will ensure the efficient operation of IT systems, promote information security, and implement loss prevention measures that enhance the safety and security of the Resort.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain a secure, reliable, and efficient IT environment across the Resort.
• Monitor and maintain computer systems, networks, hardware, and software.
• Provide technical support to employees and resolve IT-related issues promptly.
• Install, configure, and update computer systems and peripheral devices.
• Monitor surveillance systems, access control systems, and other security technologies.
• Conduct routine inspections to identify security risks and recommend corrective actions.
• Investigate incidents involving loss, theft, fraud, or security breaches and prepare detailed reports.
• Protect company data by implementing cybersecurity and information security best practices.
• Maintain accurate records of IT assets, equipment, and security incidents.
• Support emergency response procedures and business continuity initiatives.
• Collaborate with department heads to strengthen operational security and technology performance.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Perform any other duties assigned by Management.

Qualifications and Skills

• A diploma or bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Security Management, or a related field.
• Previous experience in IT support, systems administration, loss prevention, or hotel security is an advantage.
• Working knowledge of computer networks, operating systems, CCTV systems, and access control technologies.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and investigative skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and other relevant IT tools.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
