Business Development Officer (Full-Time)

Location: Accra, Ghana

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and engage prospective clients through field marketing, referrals, networking, and other approved business development channels.
  • Promote the company’s visa advisory and travel support services professionally and ethically while generating qualified sales leads.
  • Present service packages, consultation procedures, payment terms, documentation requirements, and appointment processes to prospective clients.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with potential and existing clients to enhance customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Follow up on enquiries and leads to convert prospects into paying clients.
  • Maintain accurate sales records and prepare regular business development and sales reports.
  • Achieve agreed sales targets while upholding the company’s values and compliance standards.
  • Represent the company positively at marketing events, exhibitions, and networking opportunities as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Travel and Tourism Management, Marketing, Business Administration, or a closely related field.
  • Minimum of 1–3 years’ experience in sales, business development, travel services, client acquisition, or a related customer-facing role.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, persuasion, and relationship management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet sales targets and work in a performance-driven environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, email applications, WhatsApp Business, and basic reporting tools.

Preferred Skills

  • Previous experience in a travel agency, visa advisory firm, or other service-oriented sales environment.
  • Good understanding of travel, visa, tourism, and immigration advisory services.
  • Experience working with commission-based sales targets.
  • Fluency in English and at least one Ghanaian language.
  • Ability to engage effectively with both African and Diaspora clients.
