Engagement Manager – Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) & Strategic Advisory (Full-Time)
Location: Accra, Ghana

We are seeking a highly analytical and commercially driven Engagement Manager – Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) & Strategic Advisory to lead complex client engagements and deliver high-impact advisory solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the execution of M&A and business brokerage transactions, managing key stages of the transaction lifecycle, including:
- Financial analysis and business assessment.
- Transaction document review.
- Development of marketing materials, including teasers and Confidential Information Memoranda (CIMs).
- Preparation of investor presentations and transaction materials.
- Coordination and support of due diligence activities.
- Lead the delivery of investor readiness and bankability solutions for AA’s business funding clients, including:
- Feasibility assessments.
- Financial modelling.
- Business plan development.
- Investor presentation packages.
- Lead strategic advisory engagements by developing practical solutions that address client challenges and support business growth.
- Supervise the development and review of integrated financial models used for business valuations, investment decisions, and strategic planning.
- Review, validate, and provide quality assurance on valuation reports, financial analyses, and client presentations.
- Manage client relationships and ensure the timely delivery of high-quality advisory outputs.
- Mentor and guide team members to achieve exceptional performance across multiple client engagements.
- Apply innovative approaches, including appropriate use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools, to improve analysis, efficiency, and client outcomes.

- Chartered Banker, Chartered Insurer, or other quantitative professional qualifications.
- Strong practical experience using Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools to enhance problem-solving, analysis, and client delivery.
- Advanced knowledge of financial statement analysis, including:
- Income Statements.
- Balance Sheets.
- Cash Flow Statements.
- Statements of Shareholders’ Equity.
- Strong understanding of corporate finance, valuation methodologies, investment analysis, and strategic advisory practices.
Minimum Qualifications & Experience
- Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of six (6) years’ professional experience in financial services or related industries, including:
- Banking.
- Insurance.
- Consulting.
- Brokerage.
- Advisory.
- Private Equity.
- Asset Management.
- Demonstrated experience managing complex financial analysis, advisory assignments, and client engagements.
- Proven ability to develop high-quality financial models, business plans, valuation reports, and investment materials.
