Senior HR Officer (Full-Time)

Location: Accra, Ghana

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Senior HR Officer to lead key human resources initiatives and support the organization’s strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end recruitment processes, including workforce planning, job postings, candidate screening, interviews, selection, and onboarding of new employees.
  • Manage employee relations matters by providing guidance on workplace concerns, conflict resolution, performance management, and disciplinary procedures.
  • Oversee HR administration activities, including payroll coordination, employee benefits, personnel records, and compliance documentation.
  • Develop, review, and implement HR policies and procedures that align with organizational goals and employment regulations.
  • Provide support and guidance to managers on HR policies, employee development, and people management practices.
  • Coordinate performance management processes and support initiatives that improve employee engagement and productivity.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, company policies, and HR best practices.
  • Maintain accurate HR records and prepare reports to support management decision-making.
  • Identify opportunities to improve HR processes and contribute to a positive employee experience.
  • Support training, talent development, and workforce planning initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5–7 years’ experience in HR generalist roles.
  • Strong knowledge of Ghanaian labor laws, HR policies, and best practices.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment is an added advantage.
  • Demonstrated experience managing recruitment, employee relations, HR operations, and compliance activities.

  • Strong understanding of HR operations and people management practices.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
  • Strong leadership, decision-making, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and HR management systems.
