Job Summary
The Doctors Office is seeking a dedicated and highly motivated Medical Officer to provide comprehensive medical care to patients while supporting the delivery of safe, effective, and evidence-based healthcare services. The successful candidate will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure excellent patient outcomes and contribute to the continuous improvement of clinical services.

Key Responsibilities
- Assess, diagnose, and manage patients in accordance with established clinical guidelines.
- Develop and implement appropriate treatment plans based on patients’ medical needs.
- Order, interpret, and evaluate laboratory and diagnostic investigations.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential patient records.
- Provide preventive healthcare education and counselling to patients and their families.
- Collaborate effectively with nurses, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver coordinated care.
- Respond promptly and appropriately to medical emergencies.
- Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and continuing medical education.
- Adhere to all professional, ethical, and regulatory standards governing medical practice.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Medicine and Surgery (MBChB or equivalent).
- Full registration and good standing with the Medical and Dental Council of Ghana.
- Minimum of 2–3 years’ post-qualification clinical experience in a hospital or healthcare facility.
- Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and patient management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and commitment to quality patient care.
