ShaQ Express is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Dispatch/Fleet Officer to join our operations team in Haatso. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy coordinating logistics, and are passionate about delivering operational excellence, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities

As the Dispatch/Fleet Officer, you will:

  • Assign, coordinate, and monitor daily deliveries using dispatch management systems.
  • Track riders and drivers to ensure timely, safe, and efficient deliveries.
  • Optimize delivery routes to improve operational efficiency and reduce delays.
  • Manage fleet availability and monitor the condition of company vehicles.
  • Schedule, coordinate, and follow up on routine vehicle maintenance and repairs.
  • Support the onboarding and training of riders and drivers on operational procedures.
  • Resolve delivery-related issues by collaborating with customers, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Maintain accurate dispatch, fleet, and operational records.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and operational procedures.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance delivery performance and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications and Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • A Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • A minimum of one (1) year of experience in dispatch, fleet management, logistics, operations, or a related role.
  • Strong knowledge of dispatch systems, GPS tracking, and fleet coordination.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
  • Good understanding of basic vehicle maintenance and fleet operations.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • The ability to prioritize tasks and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • A strong sense of accountability, teamwork, and customer service.
