Join Our Team

We are seeking an experienced and results-oriented Senior Finance Officer to support the organization’s financial management, reporting, and compliance functions. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to sound financial governance while supporting strategic decision-making and continuous process improvement.

Key Responsibilities

As the Senior Finance Officer, you will:

• Prepare and review accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes to support organizational objectives.
• Perform financial analysis and provide insights to support strategic and operational decision-making.
• Coordinate internal and external audit activities and ensure timely resolution of audit findings.
• Maintain strong internal financial controls and ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
• Support finance transformation initiatives and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
• Monitor financial performance and recommend corrective actions where necessary.
• Prepare management reports and financial presentations for senior leadership.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to strengthen financial planning and reporting processes.
• Support the development and implementation of finance policies and best practices.

Qualifications and Experience

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Professional membership with ICA, ACCA, CIMA, or an equivalent recognized accounting body.
• A minimum of eight (8) years of relevant professional experience in finance or accounting.
• Proven experience in the preparation and review of financial reports.
• Strong financial management experience, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Experience coordinating both internal and external audits.
• Demonstrated experience leading or supporting finance transformation initiatives and process improvements.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication, report writing, and stakeholder management abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and financial management systems.
