Key Responsibilities
As an Education Lecturer, you will:
- Deliver high-quality lectures and facilitate engaging learning experiences for teacher trainees.
- Develop and review course content in line with the College curriculum and national standards.
- Assess student performance through examinations, assignments, and continuous assessment.
- Supervise student research projects, teaching practice, and academic activities.
- Conduct scholarly research and contribute to academic publications and conferences.
- Provide academic guidance and mentorship to students.
- Participate in curriculum development and quality assurance initiatives.
- Contribute to departmental, College, and professional committees and activities.
- Support the College’s mission through community engagement and academic outreach.
- Maintain accurate academic records and uphold the highest standards of professionalism and ethics.
Qualifications and Requirements
The successful candidate should possess:
- A PhD in Measurement and Evaluation, Special Needs Education, or a closely related discipline.
- Demonstrated ability to teach effectively at the tertiary level.
- Strong research, analytical, and academic writing skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal abilities.
- A commitment to academic excellence, innovation, and student success.
