St. Ambrose College of Education is seeking a responsible, safety-conscious, and dependable College Driver to support the transportation needs of the institution. This role is ideal for a professional driver who values safety, punctuality, and excellent service while contributing to the smooth operation of the College.

Key Responsibilities

As the College Driver, you will:

• Safely transport students, staff, and authorized visitors as assigned.
• Operate College vehicles in accordance with road traffic regulations and institutional policies.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after each trip to ensure roadworthiness.
• Monitor vehicle performance and promptly report mechanical faults or maintenance needs.
• Keep assigned vehicles clean, fueled, and in good operating condition.
• Maintain accurate records of vehicle usage, mileage, fuel consumption, and maintenance schedules.
• Ensure the safe handling and transportation of official documents, equipment, and other College materials when required.
• Plan travel routes efficiently to ensure timely arrivals and departures.
• Support the timely servicing and maintenance of assigned vehicles.
• Uphold professionalism, courtesy, and confidentiality while representing the College.

Qualifications and Experience

The ideal candidate should possess:

• A WASSCE or SSSCE Certificate.
• A valid Ghana Driver’s Licence (Category D).
• Demonstrated expertise in safe and defensive driving practices.
• Good knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance and routine inspections.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• A high level of integrity, reliability, and professionalism.
• A good understanding of road safety regulations and traffic laws.
