Key Responsibilities
As the Sales Specialist, you will:
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, pricing, and promotional strategies to support informed business decisions.
- Promote, showcase, and demonstrate the company’s ceramic products to prospective and existing customers, highlighting their features and benefits.
- Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to expand the company’s customer base and market presence.
- Negotiate sales agreements and close deals while consistently achieving assigned sales targets.
- Develop and execute effective sales and promotional plans that respond to changing market conditions.
- Ensure the timely collection and recovery of customer payments in accordance with company policies.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with retailers, distributors, contractors, and other key customers.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure excellent customer service and efficient order fulfilment.
- Maintain accurate customer profiles and sales records to strengthen customer relationship management.
- Prepare and submit regular sales reports, market intelligence, forecasts, and performance updates to management.
Qualifications and Experience
The ideal candidate should possess:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Sales, or a related field.
- At least one (1) year of sales experience, preferably within the ceramics, building materials, construction, or a related industry.
- Demonstrated experience in B2B sales, particularly in working with retailers, distributors, and commercial clients.
- Strong understanding of sales techniques, customer relationship management, and market analysis.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- A results-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Fluency in English is required. The ability to communicate in Twi and Ewe will be an added advantage.
