We are seeking an experienced and results-oriented Finished Product Warehouse Issuing Manager to oversee our finished goods dispatch operations and ensure efficient, accurate, and safe product distribution.

Job Summary

The Finished Product Warehouse Issuing Manager will lead and manage all finished goods issuing and dispatch activities, ensuring efficient inventory control, accurate documentation, timely deliveries, and outstanding customer service. The successful candidate will optimize warehouse operations, lead a high-performing team, and implement continuous improvement initiatives that enhance productivity, safety, and operational performance.

Key Responsibilities

Warehouse Issuing and Dispatch Management

  • Manage the end-to-end finished goods issuing process, including planning, transportation coordination, sales support, financial reconciliation, inventory control, and system documentation.
  • Lead and supervise the dispatch team while developing and implementing a structured five-level issuing process.
  • Ensure timely, accurate, and efficient dispatch of finished products to customers and distribution channels.
  • Take full accountability for dispatch performance, operational efficiency, and service quality.

Team Leadership and Performance Management

  • Train, mentor, supervise, and evaluate dispatch personnel to ensure compliance with company standards and operational procedures.
  • Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing dispatch team to achieve departmental objectives.
  • Monitor employee productivity, attendance, efficiency, and overall performance.
  • Develop and implement performance improvement initiatives based on operational data and team performance.

Customer Service and Continuous Improvement

  • Investigate customer complaints relating to incorrect, missing, excess, damaged, or poorly organized shipments.
  • Conduct root cause analyses and implement corrective and preventive actions to improve customer satisfaction.
  • Analyze operational performance data and identify opportunities to improve warehouse efficiency and service delivery.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across dispatch and warehouse operations.

Inventory and Operational Coordination

  • Coordinate daily dispatch operations, including inventory positioning, data collection, workflow planning, and system reconciliation.
  • Allocate personnel and operational resources effectively to meet daily dispatch requirements.
  • Collaborate with Planning, Production, Transportation, Sales, Finance, Security, and Human Resources to ensure seamless warehouse operations.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure compliance with warehouse management procedures.

Safety and Compliance

  • Oversee dispatch safety procedures, including vehicle loading, issuing processes, accident reporting, and incident investigations.
  • Implement and monitor workplace health, safety, and operational compliance standards.
  • Maintain accurate accident records and implement proactive measures to minimize workplace incidents.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications & Experience

The ideal candidate should possess:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree will be an added advantage.
  • Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in warehouse or logistics management within a large manufacturing, industrial, or factory environment.
  • Proven experience managing dispatch, warehouse issuing, or outbound logistics operations.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and manage teams of 30 or more employees.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse operations, production planning, inventory management, dispatch, and logistics processes.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and warehouse management systems.
  • Strong knowledge of multi-location inventory management, stock reconciliation, and warehouse control systems.
  • Familiarity with multiple transportation modes, including flatbed trucks, shipping containers, curtain-sided trucks, and specialized racking vehicles.
  • Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Flexibility to work extended hours, including 12-hour shifts, when operational requirements demand.
