HR & Admin Officer (Full-Time)

Location: Agbogba, Accra, Ghana

About the Role

As the HR & Admin Officer, you will support the day-to-day human resource and administrative functions of the business. You will coordinate recruitment activities, maintain employee records, administer HR processes, and ensure the smooth operation of office administration while fostering a productive and compliant work environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the recruitment and onboarding process, including coordinating interviews and preparing new employee documentation.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and HR documentation.
  • Administer employee attendance, leave, and other HR records in accordance with company policies.
  • Assist in implementing HR policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
  • Coordinate staff orientation, training, and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Support performance management and employee development activities.
  • Address routine employee inquiries and provide administrative HR support.
  • Coordinate office administration activities to ensure efficient day-to-day operations.
  • Manage office supplies, equipment, and vendor relationships to support business operations.
  • Prepare HR and administrative reports as required.
  • Organize meetings, maintain office records, and manage correspondence.
  • Ensure compliance with workplace health, safety, and company policies.
  • Support the planning and coordination of company events and employee welfare activities.
  • Identify opportunities to improve HR and administrative processes and recommend practical solutions.

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field.

Experience

  • Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in Human Resources, Administration, or a similar role.
  • Experience in a manufacturing, processing, FMCG, or related industry is an advantage.

Knowledge & Skills

  • Good understanding of human resource principles and administrative practices.
  • Strong knowledge of Ghanaian labour laws and HR best practices is an advantage.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational, planning, and multitasking abilities.
  • High level of integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail and time management skills.
