We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Executive Housekeeper to lead our Housekeeping Department and ensure the highest standards of cleanliness, comfort, and service excellence.

Position Summary

The Executive Housekeeper will provide strategic and operational leadership for the Housekeeping Department, ensuring that guest rooms, public spaces, and operational areas consistently meet the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation, and hygiene. The successful candidate will lead a dedicated housekeeping team, implement service standards, manage resources effectively, and collaborate with other departments to enhance the overall guest experience.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will:

• Oversee the daily operations of the Housekeeping Department to ensure smooth and efficient service delivery.
• Develop, implement, and maintain housekeeping policies, procedures, and quality standards aligned with the organisation’s hospitality objectives.
• Lead, train, coach, and evaluate housekeeping staff to promote high performance and professional growth.
• Ensure guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas are maintained to exceptional cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation standards.
• Conduct regular inspections and implement corrective actions to maintain service excellence.
• Manage departmental budgets, inventory levels, procurement processes, and the efficient use of cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Monitor stock levels and ensure the availability of necessary housekeeping materials and resources.
• Collaborate with Front Office, Maintenance, Security, and other departments to ensure seamless guest service delivery.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, hygiene, and workplace standards.
• Develop strategies to improve operational efficiency, guest satisfaction, and departmental performance.
• Prepare reports on housekeeping activities, staffing, inventory, and operational issues for management review.

Education and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, or a related field.
• Professional certifications in housekeeping, hospitality operations, or service management will be an advantage.

Experience

The successful candidate should have:

• A minimum of three (3) to five (5) years’ experience in a supervisory or managerial housekeeping role within a hotel, casino, resort, or similar hospitality environment.
• Proven experience leading and developing housekeeping teams.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and guest service.
• Experience managing departmental budgets, inventory, and operational resources.
