Job Summary

As the Finance Coordinator / Accountant, you will oversee the organization’s financial records, prepare financial reports, manage daily accounting operations, and ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements. You will play a key role in supporting sound financial decision-making, maintaining financial integrity, and improving operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Management

  • Maintain accurate financial records and ensure all transactions are properly recorded.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
  • Process payroll and ensure statutory deductions are calculated and submitted accurately.
  • Monitor budgets, cash flow, and operational expenses to support effective financial planning.
  • Reconcile ticket sales, event revenues, and receipts across all payment channels.
  • Ensure timely preparation and submission of tax returns and other statutory filings.
  • Support internal and external audits by preparing financial documentation and reports.
  • Maintain compliance with company financial policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Analyse financial performance and recommend cost-saving opportunities and process improvements.

Educational Requirements

Applicants must possess:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • A minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience in accounting, finance, or a similar role.
  • Practical knowledge of accounting software and financial management systems.

Additional Requirement

Applicants should reside in or around Lapaz, Tabora, Achimota, Race Course, Sowutoum, or nearby communities to facilitate convenient commuting.
