Role Overview

Vanguard Life Assurance Company seeks experienced and results-oriented Sales Managers (Retail Business) to lead retail sales teams and drive business growth. The role actively develops sales strategies, manages agents, and expands the company’s retail insurance portfolio within the Accra market.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate, and manage retail sales teams to achieve business targets

• Develop and implement effective retail sales strategies and action plans

• Recruit, train, and coach sales agents to enhance performance

• Drive customer acquisition, retention, and portfolio growth

• Monitor sales performance and prepare regular management reports

• Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and ethical standards

• Build strong relationships with clients, partners, and key stakeholders

• Identify market opportunities and contribute to product and channel development

Educational Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related field

• Professional certification in insurance or sales management is an advantage

• Proven experience in retail insurance sales, with prior team leadership experience preferred

• Strong leadership, communication, and people management skills

• Excellent negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building abilities

• Results-driven mindset with strong analytical and planning skills

• This role is based in Accra
